OrderI absolutely love coming to Urban Cafe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food here is phenomenal and the staff, especially Tia, exceptional!!! This restaurant is one of my favorites for a quick lunch or brunch.
Absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom spinach omelette which was silky perfection, along with sourdough toast and house made jam. Home fries are skin on potato wedges that were exquisite, along with ketchup that's also made in house!
Great little spot serving very good, unique food for the price. I couldn't decide between the lobster Mac and cheese a d the pork belly sandwich so I got both. Loved both but I'll be craving that pork belly sando.
Decided to stop by last minute while driving by and wow! I am so happy we did. Food was fresh and it was overly priced. Mimosa was strong, the omelette was amazing and the French toast wasn't too sweet! Definitely will be back.
Easily the best breakfast I've had in KC. I got the BEC sandwich, the savory eggs/bacon paired perfectly with the cinnamon raisin toast it was on. You can definitely taste the quality of the bacon (it's sourced from a local farm) and the thick slices are sure to keep you satisfied all day.
